Dear Elise
Dear Elise.
Thank you for making a comment on my post. It means that more people will see it.
I just have one question for you.
At what point did you care?
Were you like me and grew up reading the Diary of Anne Frank? Did you also wonder how it would feel having to hide away with your family because of a gen0cide?
And did you also ever wonder what you would do if you had the choice of hiding someone that was being hunted by fascists?
Would you risk your own safety to save someone's life?
Those questions used to haunt me as a little girl.
I assume you learned about the Holocaust as well.
Did you care back then?
Or did you think that because it happened overseas it wasn't worth knowing about?
I'd love to meet up for a coffee sometime so you can show me in person what exactly is the fake news you're being exposed to.
♡ Veronica

The fact that she is calling the Genocide “fake news” shows the type of person she is.
I think Elise is the type of person who when you can back up the discussion with independent verified facts, she would argue and call you names.
I love that you took the time to respond in a compassionate way. This is how we reach people. All strength and power to you. ❤️🇵🇸
