🤬
🤬 I wasn't sure what I'd share for Nakba Day 🤬
And then I woke up to this being the first story to greet me on my phone 🤬
So what I'm going to say is this:
1. Please google Nakba and learn about this missing chapter from our history books which explains the whole context of Israe| & Pa|estine. We should only teach about the Holocaust if we include this very critical detail.
2. If you've experienced the destruction that one family member can create from having PTSD from participating in war, imagine what it's like to have EVERY family member impacted for SEVENTY EIGHT YEARS!
3. Pa|estinians have been systematically slaughtered, surveilled, oppressed, targeted and locked away for three generations.
4. Meanwhile they literally just want to live. They want their kids to go to school. They want careers. They want safety. They want a future. They want to be able to come & go freely between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. An aunt in G♡za wants to visit her niece in Bethlehem. And a medical student in Nablus wants to accept the scholarship in Denmark.
5. Until we know the Pa|estinian story everything feels "complicated".
As an Israe|i citizen, I am complicit in the ongoing Nakba. I am so deeply sorry for how I swallowed the kool-aid and believed I was part of the (self appointed) "Chosen people" 🤢🤮
I will continue to speak up for justice for the
Pa|estinian people who continue to show me undeserved grace & acceptance.
And it brings me great joy to p!ss off smug zi0nists as I expose their lies, manipulation and brainwashing.
The truth will set Pa|estine free.

Keep being loud Veronica. They have relied on quiet for far too long
‘Until we know the Pa|estinian story everything feels "complicated".
Keep pissing them off with the truth!
