I know everything today will be about
September 11...or 9/11 as those it happened to call it.
But I have nothing of value to add to that conversation. Except to acknowledge that my Muslim* friends are still being impacted by the tsunami of Islamophobia that has left a trail of destruction for 25 years.
Instead I want to highlight that today is the Jewish New Year: Rosh HaShanah.
A very simple holiday that for me growing up in Jerusalem meant dipping apples in honey and wishing everyone a good and sweet year ahead.
And as I sit here in Melbourne on a sunny morning it's almost impossible to tap into the feeling I used to have about my "jewishness" back in Jerusalem.
Eventhough it shaped my identity for so many years...it's very hard to capture that sense of we are special, we are set apart, we are "the light to the nations".
But I know that is exactly how I identified.
I was a Jewish supremacist.
That's what it boils down to.
There's a BIG difference between being proud of your heritage and nationality...to believing that your people group are favoured by God.
Even writing those words makes me cringe.
But it's important those of us who have detangled ourselves from the brainwashing are honest about our experience.
And of course not everyone had the same experience, but mine was DEFINITELY one of Jewish supremacy.
It's fascinating hearing peoples perspectives on Judaism (and Jewish people) and what conclusions they have come to, based on their interactions or observations.
"It's a peaceful religion."
"It's a matriarchal."
Etc etc.
Sure. Whatever.
That might be their experience.
But it's critical that we acknowledge that at its core...Judaism is based on supremacy.
And until we can openly speak about that, we are not going to make any progress.
Everyone is so TERRIFIED of being perceived as antisemitic that the conversation never expands into truth.
And yes, it's important we understand the difference between Judaism and Zi0nism...but that doesn't mean we have to remain silent about the shadow side of being Jewish.
It's also important to highlight that being Jewish in Israe| is very different to being Jewish in Australia.
And my Jewish friends who have only experienced life outside Israe| recoil when I mention Jewish supremacy. While those who lived in Israel wholeheartedly agree.
That's not to say Jewish supremacy doesn't exist in Australia...it's just that it's wrapped in a thin layer of Jewish fragility that most people are too scared to look under.
To say I'm angry is an understatement.
I'm FURIOUS.
And I'm not going to hold back.
We HAVE TO talk honestly about the full story.
And as we get closer and closer to the third anniversary of this bloody gen0cide I'm going to use every opportunity to expand the conversation.
Enough already.
Pa|estine WILL BE FREE from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.
And once that happens, maybe, just maybe...we can experience a good and sweet year.

Incredible expression of your truth Veronica, per usual. It takes guts to put yourself out there so much, especially in this particular 'space' of zi0s and attempts on muting the truth, ignoring the ethnic cleansing etc.
You actually now are the light... And what you've shown of yourself in the last 3 plus years, I think IS far superior to what others are denying and trying to cover up! Not because your religion or where you grew up, but due to your actions!
Thank you.
Happy new year Veronica. Let is all hope this coming year is filled with peace for all those experiencing conflict and genocide. 🇵🇸❤️
