Big omission on behalf of school curriculums that genocides aren’t taught- in modern day we’ve had Armenian, Tootsies and Hutus, Bosnians, Palestinians, Cambodians. I am so frustrated when watching SBS and the holocaust is covered all day every day (well, not quite). I think Jillian Segal is pushing for the holocaust to be compulsory learning in our Australian schools- sure, but cover all of the modern day ones. I see Netanyahu has finally agreed Turkey committed genocide on the Armenians. What a joke! Surely done to spite Erdogan.
