My 15 minutes of fame..and potentially finding a boyfriend 😄

I participated in something a bit different this morning.

Initially I thought it was a scam.

Their social media was pretty much non-existent* and I couldn't figure out if they were an Aussie company or based somewhere overseas.

But then I saw my neighbour in the video link they suggested 😄

So I figured it was worth taking a risk.

Because they were looking for people to interview who are pro-Pa|estine.

And I've made a promise to myself to say yes to as many opportunities as possible where I can be a voice in support of Pa|estine.

Only thing was that it meant missing my Saturday morning shift. And at the moment every shift helps me pay my rent.

Incredibly this morning, as I was getting ready to leave, an order came through from my online shop that hardly ever gets orders these days. And the amount covered my shift! 🙏🏽

Anyways...

I'm so glad I went.

I thought there would be heaps of us and I'd be lucky if I could have any of my thoughts shared.

Boy was I wrong!

There were only two of us 🙈

(I'm genuinely shocked they couldn't find more people to say yes)

I can't actually remember much of what I said (it's been a huge day) except that I was very honest...and I know that I will upset a lot of people.

Which is fine.

Upsetting people during a gen0cide is the least of my worries.

The episode will be aired in early June.

Oh...and apparently they mostly do dating interviews. So I jokingly told them to sign me up when they have a dating show for 50 something year olds.

Turns out they've got one coming up later in the year and they said they'd love for me to participate 🤣

All in all it was a fantastic experience and I'm genuinely curious to see how the interview comes across.
