I shared a post this morning about how my day went yesterday. And it’s all about how grateful I am for being so free and able to choose how I spend my time, money and voice.
Which is all very true.
What I didn’t include is that the event I went to didn’t have any gluten free options and I was super hungry after I left. So I decided to pop into Grill’d on my way home to grab something to eat. And the place was EMPTY. Like totally empty. And it felt like I was stepping into a movie set. It made me laugh. So I asked the waiter to take a photo of me sitting in there by myself.
Which I’m sharing here, because this is also the reality of being “free”. Being alone. (Which is not the same as lonely. But occasionally it can feel that way) And it’s important that I acknowledge that. Everything has a flip side. And yes, I am so deeply grateful for my freedom, but it comes at a price.
Anyways, here is the post I shared. It’s a feel good one:

If it resonates, I’d love to know how it landed for you.
