Too soon? (Nepal floods)

Or too late? 🙈 (Zionism)

One of the side effects with having signed up to a new tiktok account is that I'm now seeing sooooo many videos about things that are outside of my usual silo.

I'm guessing the algorithm gods are throwing EVERYTHING at me and seeing what sticks.

Will I linger on the AI romance video or the unresolved murder case? Basically anything I engage with now will determine what I'll be watching down the track.

Oh...and I very OBVIOUSLY have very very wrinkly skin according to the algorithm gods because pretty much every ad is a Korean face foundation that will make me go from looking like a raisin...to a raisin that has been soaked in water. And I haven't even searched for skin products. So this must be their own observation after seeing my 51 year old face on my cringey videos 🙈

Anyways...

The point is, I'm watching a lot of tiktok videos as I deal with hayfever congestion.

And of course there is now soooooo much footage from the devastating flash flood in Nepal/Tibet/China.

It's still impossible to comprehend the devastation and horror that they experienced and continue to endure a week later.

I want to share a thought I had while watching the videos and I understand it's "too soon" to be using this disaster as a "lesson"...but I hope you can receive it in the context of how horrified I am and how yes, this should be all about those impacted and their loss.

So please stop reading here if you're uncomfortable with using the very real disaster in a symbolic way.

Alright... these were my thoughts after watching LOTS of footage:

The initial videos that came out were of a giant "wave" of water & rubble SMASHING into the border control building. It looked like AI.

With that being our first introduction to the event there was zero doubt of the seriousness of the situation.

Which then makes it mind boggling to see other footage of locals standing by the river watching and waiting for the flood to arrive. They had obviously been told that something was about to happen and we get to watch them excitedly talking as the river slowly expands and they have to move further and further back.

Everything in me wants to scream at the screen for them to run up the hill because it's so

O B V I O U S that they're risking their lives.

One click on the comments and I'm not alone in thinking this. Pretty much everyone is calling them idiotic and how they are such fools for not taking the flood seriously. "We now know why the death toll is so high" etc etc

But of course, this is all so easy for us to say with the gift of hindsight.

We've already watched that first video of a GIANT structure being pummelled by an even more giant wave. We know the seriousness of the situation.

The men calmly standing on the banks of their local river have not been given the same information. They are basing their evaluation on previous flooding which means it's safe to hang around and film.

The same event (the glacier breaking off) is being experienced completely differently depending on the location of the person.

What was a tsunami sized wave for some was a slow expansion of the river for others.

Instant or gradual. Zero warning or much opportunity to avoid.

And it made me realise...

Wow. This is a really good visual of Zionism.

For those in Gaza the impact has been instant and like a giant wave crashing down on them.

Absolute devastation.

For those further away in Palestine it has been engulfing but not as instant and dramatic.

And then there are those of us much further "down stream" that are calmly standing by the river banks watching as Zionism slowly expands and takes over more and more of our lives. Universities, local councils, schools, art festivals, hospitals...slowly slowly the water rises. But there's no sense of urgency. There's no screaming. No sirens. Just a gradual stepping further and further back as Zionism seeps in and takes over.

Those of us who are Anti-Zionists are screaming at our phones: RUN!! GET AWAY!! THIS FLOOD IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU REALISE! WE'VE SEEN WHAT IT HAS DONE UPSTREAM. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE IT. IT WILL DESTROY YOU!!

But of course most won't listen because it's too unbelievable.

(And yes, this exact analogy can be used for climate change as well)

Australia is at a very critical crossroad. And most Australians are not aware of it.

This November there will be a conference in Sydney that will HUGELY impact who we are as a society. If it's allowed to go ahead without resistance, it will create an even broader and stronger gateway for the foreign interference that has been actively taking place in Australia under the shield of the "Jewish Lobby" (aka Zionist Lobby aka Israel Lobby)

The conference is called CAM (or as I unaffectionally call it...SCAM).

Combat Antisemitism Movement

There is no combating taking place.

In fact, it does the exact opposite.

It AMPLIFIES antisemitism by conflating global Jewish people with the apartheid state of Israel.

It creates an illusion that criticising the Israeli government and the Israeli army is "antisemitic".

Which means, according to them, opposing the genocide that Israel is committing....

is antisemitic.

It's beyond infuriating and obviously so illogical.

Their catch cry is: Israel has a right to exist.

As if that overrides the mass slaughter and ethnic cleansing that has been taking place for 80 years.

Sadly, most Australians are apathetic.

This is an "over there" problem.

Not realising that the water is rising here in Australia as more & more institutions adopt the Zionist agenda by using their definition of antisemitism (IHRA) and normalising Jewish supremacy by treating us differently to the rest of the minority groups.

I realise that this is probably much too long for most of you, so I will end here.
