have just shared via email to another friend ..good old email eh. The intertwined spider’s web of META / Google etc have made us so reliant on their systems . But ever onwards. Have a wonderful, blessed, safe and successful day x
I saw a film in Cannes today titled BEN’IMANA which is about the post-genocide reconciliation in Rwanda. And a heartbreaking scene occurs midway when a young girl explains to other young girls that the physical attribute that doomed one group to slaughter was the size of their nose. It’s mind-blowing. And I have always felt that those that live in the region of Israel have far more in common, than they don’t. And yet the kill rate there is probably second only the the Rwanda massacres - just played out in slow motion over decades :(
It really is so confronting. I hold both truths: we have so much in common…but also, one of us is the occupier and one of us is the systematically oppressed.
my very first read for the morning … beautifully written … the words resonate so deeply.
I'm glad. I need these visuals so much.

Thank you! It's been a wobbly one.
